FIELD MANUAL // POLICY FILE

Editorial policy

Facts are linked to evidence, uncertainty stays visible, and independent opinion is attributed rather than presented as official information.

Source order

Official game pages, publisher announcements, patch notes and first-party store listings are the preferred sources for release dates, prices, features, system requirements and edition contents. Independent reviews and specialist guides are used for clearly attributed observations, not to manufacture official claims.

No invented certainty

The guide does not treat an absent storefront label as proof of a permanent feature decision, turn a reviewer's playtime into a universal completion time, or invent mechanics that are not present in the supplied evidence. Regional prices, future platform dates and unconfirmed technologies are stated with their limits.

Corrections and changes

When a first-party listing or patch changes a relevant fact, the affected answer and its citation should be updated together. A correction request is most useful when it includes the page address, the sentence in question and a stronger primary source.
